Now, this look precisely how I would envision a building in a world of darkness. Hopeless, decaying, but beautyful.

new orleans is a den of vampires. the only true gothic american city
:iconschattenfee:
True, true. I'd love to visit it someday. So far, I only visited it in my imagination by playing Vampire: The Masquerade or Vampire: The Requiem, which even has a New Orleans sourcebook. And by reading Poppy Z. Brite, of course, but those are books I have grown out of. Anyway, it needs an artist's eye to capture the atmosphere of a city in a photo, and this you did.

Thanks. New Orleans is one thing, but you live in Germany, where many creatures of darkness call home. You want macabre, try the Black Forest. And you're a lot closer to where the whole thing started than I am. Transylvania & what not.
:iconschattenfee:
Black Forest is quite unspectacular...Lots of people with crazy dresses and strange accents, but otherwise not very gothic or romantic. But Cologne, my hometown, is really gothic. The cathedral is marvellous. I'd like to see Transylvania soon...

Hello...
I was wondering if you would be interested in having this or another piece published in an Art Book benefit for Hurricane Katrina victims.

You would retain all rights to the piece and all proceeds from the book (which will be sold at cross-country independent bookstores, galleries, coffee shops, and venues) will go to the Red cross & the Salvation Army.

If you're interested, please let me know at calltoaction2005@gmail.com and view our website at [link]

Thanks and good luck with your art work!
